Tourism

Tourism is one of the major contributors of Nepalese economy. It is also a major source of foreign exchange and revenue. Nepal possesses 8 of the 10 highest mountains in the world, and is a hotspot destination for mountaineers, rock climbers and people seeking adventures. The multi-cultural heritage sites of Nepal, moderate pleasant weather are also strong attractions. The tourist industry can act as a pathway to elevate  economy and achieve greater social equity in the country.

The lack of infrastructure in the tourism sector is always a major challenge in increasing the tourist inflow trend. The proper comfortable stay is one of the factors for attracting tourists. If the natural beauty of the tourism sector could be blended with managed, comfortable, exciting and hygienic stay, the inflow would increase.
